Josh Update

We enjoyed our weekend with Josh so much that we let him move in full time until he finds his forever home. Now that Josh has settled in and feels more at home, we are seeing his true personality and loving it! Josh is very sweet, he loves to cuddle and be petted. Every night, he cuddles up with me and just enjoys being loved. He is completely adjusted to his crate and doesn't whine or bark at all when left alone. He is crated while I am at work during the day and at night while we sleep and walks right into it without a fight.

Josh is very playful and does great with other dogs. I think he will do best in a home with other dogs so he has playmates. He loves to run around in our yard and jog in the Duke Forest. He has excellent recall and comes right to you when you call for him - he's very eager to please us! See you Sunday at Petsmart!

Josh is adorable! I am wondering if he will make a good companion for my beagle/bassett hound. She is one years old and likes to play a lot. How much does Josh weigh?

Josh was actually adopted last week. It sounds like it would have been a great match though - he is a great dog, we miss having him around!! The APS has been very busy due to the influx of dogs they had after the big puppy mill bust in VA - they took in about 30 or so dogs in addition to the ones they have so probably haven't been able to update the site recently. Thank you for your interest - there are tons of other great dogs at the Durham APS - also check www.tribeagles.com - more great beagles and hounds there!
